BioAll my life I have wanted to be a writer. In the meantime life happened. I turned 50 this year and realized most of my time has been spent waiting for my dreams to come true. And I don't want to wait anymore. *Whoa, flashback, to that old Tubes song! I love that song!*
I have written some fanfiction. Some are finished, some not. I wanted a place to put them all. My fics range from The Outsiders TV series, Star Trek: Voyager, The Highlander TV series, The Lord of the Rings movie-verse, King Arthur movie-verse, and my latest obsession, Primeval. I also write poetry, not any one style or following any rules. I write what sounds good to me.
Aside from that I envision this journal as my playroom, a place to noodle and doodle, experiment and ferment, see what works and what doesn't, bitch and moan, tear my hair out, and work through my writing fears.
I expect some of my posts will be incoherent and not at all meaningful to anyone but me. But there it is.
And with any luck I'll post a finished piece every now and then. Who knows, I may even throw in some of my photos and artwork too.
